What was once hidden is now revealed through the fruit of my life. I’ve learned that true beauty comes from within. For man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart.
Proverbs 31:30 says,
“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Hi, my name is Whitney Greene, and this is my Encounter Love Story.
An unexpected encounter changed everything during one of the darkest moments of my life. It was a brief connection just a moment but it left an indelible mark on my soul. In that encounter, something powerful and transformative sparked within me, altering the course of my life forever.
A Journey of Surrender
I was lost , lonely trapped in a fallen state that led me down a path of destruction. Burdened by sin, depression, frustration, and confusion, I found myself caught in a cycle of self-doubt. I had adopted an identity that wasn’t truly mine constantly comparing myself to others and questioning my very existence. I was searching for meaning, feeling hopeless in my uncertainty, and wondering why I was even here.
Then, in a moment of desperation longing for something more everything changed. What seemed like weakness was actually an act of surrender, an invitation I didn’t even realize was available to me. In that moment, Jesus met me. I was lost, but He found me and called me by name.
While my mind raced to fill the emptiness I felt deep inside, I didn’t realize that He was already at work—ordering my steps, answering my cries for help, and guiding me when I thought I was beyond saving.
And then, it all clicked.
The void I had tried to fill with everything else could only be filled by the One who created me Elohim. In that instant, I realized the missing piece I had been searching for wasn’t a “thing” at all it was a relationship with the Creator who formed me with intention and purpose, who knew me better than I knew myself.
For most of my life, I believed the lie that beauty was only found in outward appearance. But God looks at the heart. I’ve learned to trust the God of the process and to celebrate the small victories knowing that I am more than a conqueror because of who my Creator is: YAHWEH.
He is the One who gave me the strength to transform my aspirations, talents, and gifts into a God-reality according to His will. And from that revelation, Encounter Artistry was born.
Passion To Purpose.
What began as a simple passion became a divine calling.
With God's guidance, my gift of makeup artistry became more than a skill. It became a vessel for His purpose.
To me, makeup is not just about technique or enhancing beauty; it's about telling a story. It's about seeing the soul behind the face.
With every face I touch, I am reminded that there is a heart searching for something deeper. And ultimately, that search leads to Jesus the greatest gift of all. Through His love, I have discovered unshakable joy, lasting peace, deeper purpose, and a love unlike anything this world can offer.
What I once viewed as passion, I now recognize as compassion. A reflection of Christ's heart moving through my hands. Every brushstroke becomes an opportunity to serve, encourage, and love others as He has loved me.
My prayer and mission are that through every face, every service, and every experience, there would be an opportunity for a fresh encounter with the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
Encounter Artistry exists to reflect His beauty, share His love, and create space for others to encounter Him in a new way.
